Hello, I'm Charlene Tan, a visual designer from (too) sunny Singapore.

Full name is Tan Wen Hui Charlene, if you are wondering and I should write something useful to push up my ranks on Google. For example, most of what I'm doing is designing websites but honestly I hope to collaborate with like-minded individuals who promotes design thinking and champion user experiences (UX) and user interfaces (UI) in order to build meaningful products that connect with their audience. Please scroll down for more oomph.

BEFORE

Armed with a Diploma in IT, I continued my studies at Nanyang Technological University (NTU)'s School of Art, Design and Media majoring in Interactive Media.

NOW

Earning some bucks by doing what I love; designing graphics and user interfaces (UI) to pay my bills and maybe some gold coins to fly me over the clouds.

AFTER

Hoping to learn and keep growing my skill set, in order to transit from UI to UX and continue to add some sugar, spice and everything nice into my designs.

As quoted from CuriousCore, "the most successful projects are those where the designer(s) go into the process without the intention of making a particular thing." I have no idea what I got myself into but it opened up a pool of ideas to help our beloved master chefs stay home instead of heading out for groceries.

"You create your own decoration. You choose your color, you choose your mood. ... If you are depressed, you put some bright yellow and suddenly you are happy." A quote by Philippe Starck! This couldn't be more apt for a communal space smacked right in the heart of Singapore's business hub!
